Pierre Philippe, born in 1931 is a filmmaker (Midi Minuit, 1970, or Arabian daisies, feature film dedicated to the ninetieth anniversary of Gaumont), songwriter (for Jean Guidoni and Juliet), a specialist music hall, bodybuilding and movie origins, novelist (The air and the song) and even director of a show of male nudes (Skin of Man). He is charged in the archives Gaumont a mission to identify, search and rescue. He works in the general catalog of the Gaumont production since 1987. A monument to gay culture, a man corrosive.

Transworld is the first French film directed by transboy, and I'm proud to be the director. If I made this documentary, including a short version has already been achieved is to make visible the existence of gender transboy, and transgender people in the world. But also because I meet a lot of difficulties and it is surely this makes me want to beat me. I travel around Europe and the world, including South Africa, Germany and the United States, to meet transboys all very different. In this journey, each transboy met led me to meet other transboys his country. He showed me around and showed me his country and how it goes home, what the differences are cultural, legal, experience and history of each transboy. Beyond the differences of all kinds, which connects us is the same struggle for equality. The transboys need to see films made by trans. There is a huge expectation and I am very proud to continue my project. I am looking for a producer and broadcaster broadcasting. I also note that I have more support from the trans community abroad than in my hometown, Paris. We have the right to choose to be what it feels like, and assert our true identity. It is the engine of my film. So that inequalities will be there, like, now, the law requires the sterilization in order to change civil status in France, I will continue to make films for our rights. Through this project, I learned to better understand my identity, and understand others. Somehow this movie made me grow, it opened my differences. All this also showed me that very few people know the question transboy. I am pleased to offer my film to anyone who wants to listen and understand us, we transboys without judging us as the company has been doing for years ... even centuries!
